A Walk in the Rain

Chilly and damp with

The snow held off. The storm hit the house about 4:30 AM with wet snow that tinkled on the skylights. Parts of the province are without power today as the winds were damaging. We got off easy!

A and I went for a walk around the north shore for about an hour starting at 3 PM. It was refreshing to be outside. In that short time, my favourite mountain went from being almost totally obscured to clearing with some sunset colour. It's not at all a pretty time to enjoy the landscape. It looks very bleak and colourless. 

We are called the "Tournament Capital of Canada" as we have many sports facilities that draw teams in from all over.
