Book Club

Our village Book club met at my house this afternoon. We meet every four weeks and have been going for three years now.
Today we discussed Tracey Chevalier's novel Falling Angels, which most of us enjoyed once we had got into it. (She wrote Girl with a Pearl Earring).
We take it in turns to choose the book, and the next one is this novel by Nancy Mitford. It is good to read a book from the past as well as the present!
After chatting about Falling Angels it was time for tea and some stem ginger cake !
