Puffin clock. It's been hanging on the kitchen wall for years, but not for much longer. As a functional ornament, I don't dislike it. But it has associations with past times, that I'd rather not have a constant reminder of. So it'll be off to a charity shop, and someone else. Could do with a dusting first...

Shock horror! Virgin Media has finally sent the cheque for monies owed... rather than sending round the bailiffs (as threatened), for monies not owed to them. Cheque arrived today, somewhat later than the, "Please allow ten working days for it to arrive" - from their letter of 29th of January. The cheque is dated 7th of February, and is one of a batch. It seems more like they waited ten days from this date before sending it out. Whatever, hopefully this will be the end of the saga.

As a matter of principle, I doubt I'll ever again have willing involvement with any of the Virgin companies. Even when it means going out of my way to avoid them...
