Bahrain recorded 275 new cases, 0 fatalities and 240 recoveries today

Bahrain has reached it's first target and that was to vaccinate 100,000 individuals.  101,369 people have been vaccinated as of last night.

175 new confirmed Covid-19 cases, 156 recoveries reported in Saudi Arabia,  bringing the total number to 364,271  cases, including 1,954 active cases, 307 of whom are in critical conditions.  4patients had passed away, bringing the death toll to 6,304.

 Kuwait has today confirmed 539 new Covid-19 infections, raising the total to 155,874 cases.  1 infected patient had passed away, raising the death toll since the outbreak of the pandemic to 947.

UAE announces 3,362 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 239,587.   Six deaths due to Covid-19 complications, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 723.

Japan’s health ministry said on Sunday it had detected a new strain of Covid-19 in four travellers from Brazil’s Amazonas state which featured 12 mutations, including one also found in highly infections variants discovered in Britain and South Africa.
