Christmas decoration must go!!

We have always on the rule that all decoration should be taken down today...but Granddaughter2 ( by age of course) gave us this for Christmas and A) you don't throw presents away , and B) it doesn't take up much space, and C) we like it, so we're keeping it.
But doesn't the rule also say something about bad luck?
