Winter Returns And The Rocket

Snow was forecast today for Scotland, and indeed we did receive a covering  (see extra). However, we are near the sea, and other areas have received very much more.

Although, I am relaxed about driving on snow covered roads, I am always concerned about the other drivers who are on the roads.

Today’s Blipfoto is of ”The Rocket" railway locomotive. This is a cutaway full size model which I photographed in the National Railway Museum approximately 1 year ago.

Models of the Rocket and three coaches will appear on my heritage layout.

I took delivery of a couple of model kits made of printed card which will become buildings on the layout.
