A Record blip

More work on the dining room chairs today - we glued and clamped the loose joints which is why these sash clamps came of of their resting place in the garage.  They were Gill's father's - I decided to keep them when we cleared the house out thinking they are the sort of thing we wouldn't want to buy but  might well need one day. 

The foam for the seat and back cushions has also arrived along with the cleaning and staining kit Gill ordered.   We're very impressed with the way the wood is cleaning up so the project is trotting along quite well at the moment.

Sadly - one of our neighbours has tested positive for C-19 so he and his wife will be isolating.  He is a commercial pilot and went away for some simulator time before Christmas, although there is no clue as to where he picked it up.
