The north wind does blow.......

.........and we have snow.
Rather a lot too, and hasn’t stopped all day.
Decided not to go out and the farm shopping will have to wait until tomorrow.
Mr C topped up the bird feeders and they were immediately bombarded by sparrows, starlings and goldfinches.
Took a lot of photos from inside, but I liked this one of the little sparrow best.

As we are sat here surrounded by the snow, we are having videos sent from our friends in South Africa showing their new swimming pool being delivered!
Nothing like rubbing our noses in it!
They have Covid restrictions which prevent them from going on the beach, but still seem to be mixing with friends.
The sale of alcohol has now been banned again, but J says they have enough wine to last 6 months!

We have been watching a wonderful documentary about the Conquest of Everest.
Made in 1953, but I haven’t seen it before.
After watching that I don’t think we can complain about the conditions here.
Not going to complain as it all looks so magical, sat here with a cuppa, looking through the lounge windows.
