When the stream met the pond

It rained all night! So these pics show the water pouring over the banks into pond. While we were looking at this welcome sight from our bedroom 5 ducks flew onto the pond. After breakfast I went out to take some photos but as soon as I started to walk down the garden the ducks flew away. I hope they come back sometime. (Ian, you asked the question)

I had a lovely long phone chat with my friend, AnneB, who was one of the ward nurses when my son was born....and that's a very long time ago.

So with the rain continuing to fall this afternoon I watched the first episode of the new series of the only "making" programme I watch....The Great Pottery Throw Down....I love it!
