Fresh Peruvian Lilies

Snow overnight and wet most of the day

It is always nice to have fresh flowers in the house and these Peruvian Lilies certainly fit the bill.

A heavy afternoon with three very distressed people suffering from stress and anxiety. Fortunately, I am able to walk away from these sessions without taking their distress with me. One of our guiding principles is that we can’t ‘fix people’. All we can do is give them a safe space to open up, perhaps for the first time. It does help and we can give some hope as we recognise inner strengths which we recognise during the conversation. I am seeing many more people making appointments since the turn of the year, which is no surprise. It may take some time before this changes.
