Shorter

Ever since we put up big thermal curtains across the large bay window in our bedroom I've wanted to shorten the curtain rails that went around the bay itself - mainly because they 'breached' the thermal barrier.  Single-glazed stone-framed 19C windows are foobling cold this time of year.

Just a simple case of hacksawing a bit off.  Yeah right.

Assorted swearings and cut cords later...

In other news, we tormented a friend with a rendition of Happy Birthday over zoom; zoom-sharing a rather yummy vegan birthday cake E had made (two of) and had delivered theirs in advance.
