Our second grandchild was 6 today. Our FaceTime balloons, party poppers and home schooling session were a poor substitute for actually being there. Far more importantly there was no chance for him to celebrate today with all his friends. There are so many side effects of this virus that it becomes harder and harder to remember what life used to be like this time last year. His parents and big brother still gave him a lovely day to remember!
