Where the Wild Things Are

After a day of heavy rains that forced roads in low-lying areas to close, today dawned sunny and cold. Bella was staying with us and explored our environs. I was surprised to see this bee already out and working. The extra is a capture of Bella and Jeff enjoying the moment and each other. 

Bella and I are reading that classic children's book, Where the Wild Things Are, by Maurice Sendak.

The Ides of January falls on the 13th...one of his sycophants should have told Trump to beware! An insurrection followed by a swift impeachment, it's an inauspicious start to the new year. Let's hope there's improvement after the inauguration next week!
