Streaky sunset

Lovely and warm today, above 50F...can't complain, though it wasn't the weather I was really after yesterday. Might have to revise the snow dance. Had trouble concentrating on work (after an unfortunate political argument with my cousin), so finally went outside and hacked clipped away in the garden. I saw the first sign of daffodils, in a very sheltered spot so no real surprise, and signs of a bunny (fur) who was no doubt squeezing through to the veggie garden. Well, there's nothing much for him in there at the moment, unless he likes sprouted garlic.

Tomorrow all four of us will be leaving the house...that hasn't happened in ages. I take the kids to an annual cardio appointment (there's some possible hereditary stuff to watch out for) and W. will be going to his office. Likely he will be the only one there. Then I.'s two next-to-last college applications are due at midnight, and ditto for an essay contest D. is entering; it's the Profiles in Courage essay scholarship, where students pick an elected official who, in their opinion, has acted courageously.
