Flying ...

I am normally in Rome every year around mid-January for our AGM and I took this photo flying there exactly two years ago. The last time I flew was back from Rome a year ago today. 
It is not that I miss flying and I am very happy that my carbon footprint has been reduced so much (I normally travelled at least once every other month with a least two transatlantic trips very year) but I do miss meeting my colleagues and friends from around the world, and exploring new places.
I reckon that long term my travel will be reduced by half and that we will all consider more carefully wether a trip is strictly necessary before hopping on a plane.
