Lockdown 3.0 Day #11

Is it really only day #11 of this lockdown - it feels like we have been confined to the house for so much longer. 
Another damp and miserable day and it struggled to get above zero, so we only did the shopping for my parents and then came home, not fancying lingering in the cold. Dad is finally booked in for his Covid jab next Thursday which was a nice surprise, but about time. 

No rare or uncommon birds in the garden today, in fact there was very little of anything most of the time. We've had the goldies in and out a few times, the blackbirds eating from the fat balls and just one visit from the small flock of long tailed tits. 

In the autumn we planted some bulbs for the first time and they have started to appear, just poking through the soil. It's quite exciting to see what they will become as I can't remember what we planted and where :) 
It must be about time now to start planting some seeds I think. I have loads of packets, so will go through them and decide what to grow. A few bits of everything, knowing me, although I'm sure we will run out of windowsills before the spring is out.
