Snow drops on snow drops.

Two years ago we had snow drops in flower on 1st January.  This is going to be a long  winter. 

Today a bit of a difficult  walk over frozen slush to pick up a prescription.  13,000 steps and a tired out puppy. 
I then went to visit our newly opened fishmonger. I got some live langustines ( only a few) and some haddock with Samphire. My question  is, do I risk letting Ru cook dinner or should I?
