We were woken by the sound of a car spinning its wheels, trying to get around the icy corner at the top of the road. Despite a couple of neighbours’ giving a push, they had to reverse down and go another way.

Happily we were able to drive out later for our Tesco groceries. (I always park facing downhill in this weather) Our first time using Click & Collect. I had been told the order was cancelled this morning, due to extreme weather, but an hour later, another message said to ignore the first message.
