New Mersey Crossing

Had a site visit by the new Mersey Crossing mid morning. In thick fog and -1°C.
I don’t think I have ever seen the tide so low on the river, certainly never seen this sticking out of the water. I’m guessing it’s an old wooden slipway or jetty. I’m sure I will try & find out at some point.
Anyway, it’s Friday. I need a drink.
