Sometimes there are days where I have a simple idea and it becomes so much more interesting than I ever imagined.

Today I thought I'd try some macro shots of a field mushroom - yep, the rock and roll lifestyle continues - and found the level of detail and layering really interesting. The ridges almost looked like valleys and I thought I'd go with that as the shot.

However when I stuck it in photoshop and tried inverting the colours it gave me this. SO much more interesting, it looks like... well, nothing I've really seen before!
