Run to Jimmies

Because my car was in the hospital car park I had to get to work somehow, so decided best way was to run in! 13.4km and 1hr20mins later with rather cold legs and wet feet I arrived at Jimmies safe. Surprised at the ground, it was icy but still crunchy so wasn't slippy at all. Spent the morning doing lines on the ward with Steve which was great and then afternoon moving from theatre to theatre and eventually ended up in acutes doing lots of small cases to help clear the decks. Heard some awful news about Louise who slipped in car park and broke her arm badly, really hope she's ok. Finished work and then ran back to the Nuffield to get the car and drove home. Got home to a HUGE pile of snow on the drive and apparently all the snow off the roof had slipped off and landed on the drive. The boys saw it happen apparently and so far that's all I've heard constantly!!!!
