Amaryllis.

On Christmas Eve I blipped this Amaryllis as a newly emerged bud.  Growing in what is probably the coolest room in the house it has grown to 60cm (2').  As you can see the flowers are just starting to open.

There will probably be another blip when the flowers are fully open.

I had my 6 monthly dental check up this morning and while sterilizing my hand st receptionist said "I will spray your shoe soles when you finish".  I commented that I did my own last time.   "we had too many wobbling and almost falling over was her reply.
