The Priory

L3 Day 27 went to the allotment passing a variety of interesting old houses in Park Road, Hampton Wick. The Priory is a range of 4 houses in Gothic style built in 1828. It is a terrace of 4 four room houses which have a very different appearance to any other houses in the area. It is thought that the inspiration for the style is from Strawberry Hill House built about 50 years previously, which is less than two miles away.
