Well, it was this or a stone wall in need of pointing. I chose colour.

Also, these curtains are what Pleach's vase was reminding me of yesterday. After a quick survey of my siblings, because my parents had no memory of when they were bought, it seems likely we got the curtains when we moved in 1968 from a Victorian terrace to the much smaller windowed, newly-built Craigmount Ave Nth off the Drumbrae.
