Thereafter had a busy day of back to back video calls. I am insanely grateful that we have so much fantastic work but keeping on top of it all is a feat! Thank goodness it's Friday. I did manage an hour country walk with friend J at lunchtime (because we can't do Friday nights together with wine and food right now!).

Daughter J meanwhile has taken no real breaks at all and is still engrossed in her assignment while I am falling asleep writing this.

Wishing you all a nice weekend; exciting it may not be, but I noticed this afternoon that it was light for longer and that was a nice feeling.
