Moonrise over Gourock

I just happened to look out of the appropriate window this evening as the full (?) moon rose over Gourock and the Firth of Clyde. Mr B actually took this marvellous photo - his camera allows for more verisimilitude than mine, and the photo faithfully replicates the amazing blood-orange appearance of the moon.

The small boat heading towards our side of the water is the infamous Ali Cat, for once not affected by the weather as she powers along over a completely calm sea.
