It's OUR path now, Humans!!

It was Brian's Saturday in work today so I did a few house jobs, online bank stuff etc. this morning and made yet another trip to the Post Office.

After Brian was home., a wash-load was done and lunch had been eaten we headed out to find Blips. The snow from the other day has now melted and rain fell for most of the night meaning that the river is very high to the point of overflowing in places. We walked on the river-bank where we could but much of it was too waterlogged and muddy. 

The Water Rail Way that we often walk along on the far side of the river was flooded - these swans are doing their synchronised slurping at what should be the start of the path. We accessed the path from the back of the car park but could only go so far - see extra.

The swans are the same family that I blipped emerging from the mist earlier in the week. Mum and another cygnet are out of shot.
