titanic

this exhibition has been in St. Pete's since we first arrived
but I've only just got around to going , used it as an
excuse to get a few people together and then go for a light
lunch.
On entry we were all given boarding passes with the
name of a real passenger who sailed on her .
I was Mrs John Borland Thayer (Marian Morris)
aged 39 (ha that's a few years younger !)
!st class passenger (as if there was any doubt !)

It was a rather sobering experience made more poignant
by the personal items on display ;
The list at the very end showed the fate of all the passengers-
I was saved with my son but my husband perished
