NOT a speedy process.

The weather hasn't been all that conducive to wandering around outside - BUT - The Feeders needed topping up, so I took the camera too.  Very little of note.  The Japanese onions were un-spottable until I shifted some of  the Cherry-leaf mulch, kindly supplied by Mother- Nature.
They are there, they are growing, inasmuch as I can see a few green tufts, but it looks at though, essentially, it may just be a way to give them an early start.  Another "We shall SEE."  job?
