Snow

I awoke to find that there had been a light snowfall overnight - the first in this part of England this winter.   However, it  had already turned to rain and was beginning to wash away the settled snow.  I went out for a walk before it all disappeared and managed to take a few shots but, by the time I returned home, the pavements were clear and, by lunchtime, the lawn in our garden was clear.  This afternoon the sun even made an appearance.

It is very noticeable that there is still a lot of traffic on the roads.  Is the "stay at home" message really understood?
