No birds about

The Flick*r Alphabet Challenge for this week was B is for Bird - but there have been virtually no birds in my garden this week - just the odd one or two Starlings and Collared Doves - and the weather has been generally dull so no photos worth posting.  I had to resort to my collection of birds indoors - of which this is the most impressive being nearly 30 inches high. I would love to get a shot like this of a real Barn Owl - see them quite often  hunting alongside the dykes, but never close enough or in a place where I can stop. One day  - hopefully!
