Sights from my Bike Ride
It was sunny this morning and in the mid 40s by 10 AM so I decided to go for a ride. It was all day football at home, so I don't think PD even knew I was gone. Today I rode 27 miles on some roads I haven't been on before, which is always fun. I am grateful that I didn't have a flat tire until mile 22 and I'm really grateful that riding about 3 miles to the bike shop on the flat didn't destroy my rim!
Top Row: Metal sculpture on a fence. I liked the background. :-)
I found this kennel on a very lightly traveled back road. I just checked their website. It looks like a nice facility.
Tree carving
Middle: Dedication at a lovely park in a small town I rode through. Hope you can read it.
Zach working on Trixie. He said the liner in the rim was out of place and the tube probably was punctured from the inside due to this. He said it was a factory issue and was surprised it didn't happen sooner. It's fixed now and he adjusted her brakes too. :-)
A very random sign on a pole in the middle of nowhere for Silly Saturday.
Bottom: These eagles made me do a double take as I rode by. They looked real at first glance!
My favorite bike shop. :-)
125 year old church outside of the small town of Mead, CO. I know it's not a big deal across the pond but it's pretty old for a western state. :-)
Thanks to everyone who visited my journal yesterday and today and for all the stars and hearts on my blips!
Remembering Admirer on this Silly Saturday. xx
