Hanging On

This rose seems to be hanging on to my neighbors neglected rose bushes......she does nothing with her roses....nothing! They just grow with no nourishing. 

Little Ellie came over yesterday afternoon; she is so fun to have around........I will spare you all the cute Ellie stories since I am already one day late getting my Friday Blip posted. I took her back home this afternoon; she fell asleep before I made it out of our neighborhood. I drove over to where I might see the Bald Eagles and I was treated to one of them flying back near the nest. Usually they sit for quite awhile where they land but he only stayed a minute, flew to another tree, then flew back toward the nest before flying away right over my head. Since Ellie was asleep, I could open the door to get a shot. It was so fun to see him back in what I call his "home turf". 

Today was a pleasant day with a high of 50F......even some blue skies. It was delightful to drive around a park with a lake and through one of my favorite neighborhoods while Little Miss Ellie got an hour nap. She was happy to see her family and she made the rounds giving everyone a hug!

Hubby just made popcorn while we are watching the basketball game, so I am going to finish here before it is all gone. It smells so good.
