Ooh a surprise

Months ago we had a very nice pumpkin. I took out the seeds and just buried it as is (not dried out at all) in my vege patch. Just because I did not want to throw it away and did not have a place to dry it. This week I noticed this flower. It could be from those seeds - you never know!! Or not, I have no idea how a pumpkin plant looks but this flower seems like one.
