I spotted this vibrant yellow rose - just one - growing on a leafless, thorny bush. It was swaying gently in a mild breeze looking starkly beautiful. Its existence needing no reason or explanation. It grows and dazzles, because that’s what it does
Isn’t it lovely. I would describe it as sherbet yellow.
I had my swim at sunrise and will prepare chicken casserole for my mid-day dinner and plan to watch The African Queen this afternoon (Vince is a big fan of Katherine Hepburn).
