Mary Wollstonecraft statue

This is the statue by Maggie Hambling, in Newington Green, put up in autumn. Caused some controversy - a nude statue to represent a feminist icon. It is a bit weird, like a naked barbie on top of a big chunk of silver rock.
It gave us a direction for our constitutional walk today and comfortably reached 10,000 steps. The parks and streets were very busy - doesn’t seem like a lockdown, but then people are keen to get out of the house if it is not raining, and there is nowhere else to go.
