Tick, tock...

Of the mechanical variety not the new kid on the block social media variety. One of the Sunday chores is to wind up old faithful, a pendulum wall clock. 

Recently it has been thoroughly serviced and pampered and now it hardly looses a minute each week. When it was away being fixed the house seemed quiet without its soothing tick tock and regular chimes.
