Off the Beaten Path

A lovely if somewhat cold start to the morning. We both headed out for a run. Muddy and at times icy but still enjoyable to be out.

Put a beef casserole in the slow cooker to gentle simmer away. Then took the camera for a walk around Pickering. Over the years I have walked the streets either side of this lane but never ventured down it. I was surprised to see three cottages and the back of properties along the Main Street.
