147 Ponsonby Road

On the corner of Ponsonby Road and Anglesea Street is the Chapel Bar and Bistro.

This is very popular meeting place, eating place, drinking place and place where gigs are held. At no more than ten minutes after 5pm this evening this was one of the few places with customers, and already most of the outside tables are filled.

This is a further photo taken on my One Street. It is possible that in order to address all of the different faces which Ponsonby Road presents to the world, I may be doing this for many months to come.

It has been a lovely evening today, and the clientele of Chapel were bathed in the warm sun for a good couple of hours after I took this shot.

It is good in large. I have resisted bending my self enforced rule of only including true cafes, rather than bars/restaurants, in the collection of cafes. Coffee is a small part of what this establishment offers.
