The evolution of my patchwork skills (4)

I've been wanting to make a blanket like this for ages. I wanted it to look as though I had just made the pattern up as I had gone along and just used whatever sized pieces I had. That is actually almost impossible! I planned this baby to within an inch of its life! Had great fun doing it though, and it dented my craft supplies nicely (with the exception of all the new stuff i bought...). This one is for my bestest friend Kirstie as a birthday presant + end of PhD present. Hope she likes it! :)
