Distant

The weather was fair first thing, so I got out with Django to stretch my legs, hoping to catch the sunrise. But the clouds came in as fast as the sun rose! Here's the Obelisk, seen from the Chinese Gates. Between them the land falls away to the river North Esk, which was very full this morning, and the path beside it was still a continuous sheet of ice!
