An Historical Figure

This is the most favourite toy in our house. Old Mousie is 16+ years old and has traveled with the cats through 3 different states over time. It participated in some violent play this morning with Dorie Prickles, it's newest owner. She carries it all over the house, tosses it into the air and catches it. Old Mousie was only recently surrendered to her by Persey in friendship. It has one pink ear left and a rather mushy inner feel. It recently went through the toy cleaning wash before being put back into action.
There is also a blue and white Mousie of the same vintage but not nearly as well-loved.-- One thinks of "the Velveteen Rabbit".
Dori Pickles is 5 months old this week. Here she is stretched out in the sun in between Old Mousie play.

For the past week I have been feeling seriously ill and so not blipping. Not COVID. Probably a flu and also hip muscle damage when I fell off my bed last week. I can walk again.
