Swan rescue

Walking yesterday we noticed a cygnet which looked like it was trapped in an isolated stretch of water with no easy way out. What we thought were its parents were close by but over a little wall. They could see it but couldnt get over. I went back this morning early and it was still there so I got in touch with The Swan Rescue team and they came to meet me. It was not  easy to get down to, very slippy but they managed to get it out and wrap it in a harness. They placed it on the ground near what could have been its parents but they went to attack it. It was then decided to take the Cygnet to a place of safe release away from the angry swans, see extra. So glad for the happy ending.
