¶ Make Art Not War

So, today is Blue Monday apparently, the most depressing day of they year. I always thought this was an actual thing, but turns out that it was something invented by a UK travel agency a while back (2005 to be exact) and was apparently based on an equation that drew together such factors as weather conditions, debt levels, time since Christmas and other assorted measurements to come up with the concept. The whole thing owes more to marketing than actual science (in fact, the formula itself fails even the most basic mathematical scrutiny) but it has become something of a thing in some circles.

It's hard in the times in which we live to single out just one day as the most depressing. It's like asking a man dying of thirst if he would prefer Evian or Spa - it's all much the same at the end of the day.
