Core paths !

We decided to head into Black Spout Woods today on the basis that the paths there would be more passable.  They were in places but the main path down was more like an ice rink requiring balance and fence holding to navigate safely. I'm sure it was good for my core.

However the woods themselves were lovely - we spotted two roe deer (a buck and a hind), one of which can just about be made out in my blip. 

The woods take their name from the Black Spout Waterfall which was in full flow today - the extra shows T photographing it. 

In today's other news, my day was brightened by the arrival of new notebooks (you can never have too many).
