A threatening sky

The thaw is almost complete and the path round the loch is very wet and the grass horribly muddy. I watched one toddler having the best fun splashing in a rather large puddle .... he was wearing his wellies but mum wasn't so she did get her feet wet as she tried to take the hand of her little boy.

This tree is quite a landmark on the circuit of the loch. The top branches have had no new growth for some time but there are some new spindly branches near the base of the trunk.
