This is an old paraffin blow lamp and would have been used for everything from soldering to paint stripping, it is a Primus 630 and was made in Sweden production of this model started in 1954 and it is made mostly of brass. My old friend Malcolm has one and during this lockdown we are challenging each other to see who does the best job of cleaning them up, maybe if I rub hard enough a Genie will appear to help!
