A splash of colour

Tonight as we were finishing supper I looked up across the room and saw all the beige on the walls. And then I saw this big colorful rectangle right in the middle.

It was of course the window, showing me the glorious sunset colors. It caught my attention today, maybe because the difference against the visuals.

I imagine that’s how it is most times. We stop seeing beauty or color because the world is beige. And it’s when we see a square of true beauty and color that we realize how beige our world has become.

It’s just a good reminder for me.
