Kiwi Summer....at The Beachfront

A small boat heads out to sea early this morning. The weather forecast was pretty grim for later today. So I hope the boat and it’s crew headed back to shore before the storm. We headed off to Nelson, to the cinema. The youngsters to “Witches” and we older folk to “The Dry”, an excellent Australian film. Apparently the storm was rough in Kaiteriteri, with squalls and heavy rain. Some drama at the camp with gazebos blown down. We are grateful to our camping neighbors who kept watch on our campsite.
