The Office

On the previous day, lots of explanation of the operation of Xomed Deutschland GmbH in Gilching, a dormitory suburb of Munich which was my workplace from 1996 to about 1999 when we moved to the north of Munich.

Xomed German was a subsidiary of Xomed Surgical Products Inc of Jacksonville, Florida, USA very big in Ear, Nose and Throat medical devices. The offices had only been built 1995/6 so part of my duties was doing organising window cleaners to remove the cement markings on the windows - horrible to get off!

On the top photo, our boss Tino posing for the shot taken by a visiting USA company colleague. He and I were working together on the massive relabelling of our thousands of products & boxes with new EU medical device requirements.
